5 kesalahan bussiness blogging

Today I am reading Kompas Female and find nice articles titled "5 kesalahan dalam bussiness blogging" and want to share it. http://female.kompas.com/read/xml/2009/10/02/10525077/5.kesalahan.dalam.business.blogging.

I find it very interesting especially on point 5 which said....

Kesalahan #5: Berharap terlalu banyak, dan terlalu cepat
Ibarat lomba lari, blogging bukan lomba lari sprint, melainkan maraton. Membangun blog hingga dikenal orang butuh waktu, bahkan pada bulan-bulan pertama Anda pasti merasa menulis untuk Anda sendiri. Untuk membangun komunitas pembaca, apalagi pembaca yang setia, jelas tidak akan terjadi dalam waktu cepat. Jangan mengharapkan feedback secara instan.
Tips: Tetapkan tujuan yang dapat dicapai, dan jangan menyerah setelah tiga bulan. Beri kesempatan setidaknya satu tahun untuk mengirim content secara teratur.

Because really after 3 months doing blogging, I had not receive any purchase from any customer.  Only one ex-co worker which was interested in papua handicraft and bought it three months ago.  But yesterday I received two message from someone who interested to buy papua batik and I am quite surprise.  I am so excited and maybe it coincidence I read this articles.  The popularity of batik recently also rise up people awareness.  When I asked my customer how do they know my blog? They answered from Google and they intended to buy batik and look for it from Google.

I just wish that this will be a good sign and wish I will have a final purchase soon :).
